What brought me to writing

I recently did a course with the Economist on "Business Writing and Storytelling". Up to that point, I had received little formal education in writing - most of it had been during university and rather academic in tone and nature. It was refreshing to learn from real Economist journalists and apply some principles of successful writers. The course really transformed the way I think about the messages we all transmit by spoken and written words.

Politikwelt will be a publication focused on everything politics. For me, politics has always been about relations between people and power. As I start this writing project, I am excited to dive into data and cover current affairs.
